American Laser Centers Ranks No. 403 on the 2007 Inc. 500 with Three-Year Sales Growth of 720 Percent
Detroit -

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--Inc. magazine ranked American Laser Centers No. 403 on its 26th annual Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.  American Laser Centers is the sixth highest ranked company in the state of Michigan.

The 2007 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2003 through 2006.  To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006.

American Laser Centers today also reports more than 53 percent year over year sales growth, bringing the company closer to its 2007 sales goal of $160 million.

In 2007, American Laser Centers has added 35 clinics, bringing its total to 191 corporate and 29 licensed locations.  In addition, the company's footprint has expanded to 32 states and Puerto Rico, further cementing its status as the largest and most successful business specializing in laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation and cellulite reduction therapy. American Laser Centers attributes its phenomenal growth to increased consumer demand for non- invasive beauty treatments and its strong new service offerings.

To support this rapid growth, American Laser Centers added 403 new employees to its team of more than 1,368 professionals, including 125 at its corporate headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich.

"Our growth reflects increased demand for non-surgical cosmetic procedures," said American Laser Centers Founder and CEO Rich Morgan.  "In addition, our commitment to providing high-quality, convenient, and consistently effective services to consumers has generated brand loyalty. This positive reputation continues to help us attract more new clients."

Americans spent just under $12.2 billion on cosmetic procedures in 2006, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Since 1997, there has been a 747 percent increase in the total number of nonsurgical cosmetic procedures.
