AT&T RINGS IN THE NEW YEAR WITH FREE AT&T | DISH NETWORK SERVICE

New offer invites customers to bundle AT&T services to

receive 12 months  free of America’s Top 60 from AT&T | DISH Network

SAN ANTONIO – Jan. 2, 2007 AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) raised the video stakes today, announcing 12 months of AT&T | DISH Network service at no charge when customers add key AT&T services and commit to a two-year term for the entire bundle.

The new AT&T | DISH Network promotion offers  America’s Top 60 programming package with local channels from AT&T | DISH Network – the equivalent of a $34.99 monthly valueat no monthly charge after mail in redemption for the first 12 months when the customer adds AT&T All Distance and AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet and commits to a 24-month contract. To qualify for the 12-month, $34.99 monthly savings customers must subscribe to all three services – AT&T | DISH Network, All Distance, and AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet.

"When consumers think TV, we want them to think AT&T.  This offer is one way to get consumers’ attention that AT&T is delivering some of the best values in entertainment, as well as communications services, in the marketplace today," said Rick Welday, Chief Marketing Officer, AT&T Consumer Marketing.

The offer will be available on a limited basis to new or returning AT&T customers initially in selected markets throughout the AT&T service region. Customers selecting a higher tier AT&T | DISH Network package can receive a bill credit of $34.99 for 12 months

AT&T is shaking up the video business in other ways too.  Recently, AT&T introduced AT&T HomezoneSM, which integrates AT&T | DISH Network satellite television, AT&T Yahoo!® High Speed Internet and AT&T Home Networking services via a single device.

AT&T Homezone provides Internet-based video with satellite TV programming in a seamless in-home experience, giving consumers a powerful new way to extend the best of the Internet beyond the desktop to bring entertainment content to their TV screens and stereos. It includes a digital video recorder, features movies on demand, photo- and music-sharing, storage for both, and remote, Web-based access to the system.
